I am a Black woman and I feel like Black women have it the hardest when it comes to dating. No one ever wants to date Black women because of all the negative stereotypes out there and because of plain old racism. Many people seem to think that Black women are stupid, disgusting, and are the most unattractive women in the world and it really hurts and breaks you down even when you don’t want it to. I find that White men, Asian men, Hispanic men, and even Black men do not want to date Black women and some find the idea repulsive and would never even consider it. It is hard living in a world where no one wants you. And I know many of you may say that people do not want to date me because I whine or because I am depressed but no one not even my friends know how I really feel and what I struggle with everyday. I always portray myself as being happy and confident and my friends love being around me; I always make them laugh. But I find myself hating myself more and more everyday because I am Black. I feel like I am being punished for something that I have not even done.
