My son is already dark brown and didn\u2019t burn at all, either (but he\u2019s blonde now, too).\r\n\r\nHowever, I do color it brighter red, darker brunette, and also blue-black sometimes.\r\n\r\nBut I usually just change the shade ever so slightly just 4 times per year when the seasons change.\r\n\r\nI do brighter, lighter shades in Spring and Summer and then do darker brunettes and black in the Fall and Winter.\r\n\r\nI look like shit as a blonde or anything other then a few highlights as far as lighter shades go.\r\n\r\nWomen look older with *unnaturally* lighter shades once you\u2019re like 30 or 40.\r\n\r\nI\u2019m also given to the subtle bright blue, red, and even pink lowlights on occasion, too.\r\n\r\nI like to change it up a lot.\r\n\r\nAuntie P.
